Recorded at Phil Loveladys (situation taboo) kitchen
table on a 4-track and dubbed to cassette. Masters were
ruined when left in a box in the washroom and leaking water
destroyed the cassettes! About fifty copies were sold between
Texas and True Tunes Record Store in Wheaton, IL.

in a small shack called Walk on Water Studio. Marks
first appearance by Matt Slocum (sixpence) on guitar.
Chris Dodds played the drums, TJ Behling played bass, and
Mike Acevedo guested on guitar. File under Chris Taylor
& Windows. Mostly sold in Texas and through True
Tunes Record store in Wheaton, IL.

Band changes name to LOVE COMA and in June and July begin
to record songs for a new independent project. Recorded
by Donnie Meals at Edit Point Studios in San Antonio, TX. New
bass player in Jeff Duncan; Slocum and Dodds still on board.
Released regionally in 1993 as a cassette-only release.

Thanks to John Thompson (of True Tunes) LOVE COMA gets a
second chance and a distribution deal. They redo the
albums artwork (both the original and new covers by
Paul Soupiset) and begin to cause controversy in the marketplace. (side
note: That was not our intention, I just
am a bit more visual than most of these conservative bands
I wanted the cover to be very descriptive of the bands
name, said Taylor.)

included strangers clothes, astronaut
and goodbye as well as many others. Matt
Slocum plays on many of these tracks. Also Jim Skinner
played guitar on several tracks as well. Chris Dodds played
drums, Jeff Duncan played bass. As of today, no one
knows where the master tapes are.

brought in to play songs they never heard before.
The music is very acoustic and laid back. Tracks feature
everyone from Matt Slocum on guitar, Paul Soupiset singing
and playing guitar, Shane Kyle on tape recorder, Phil Lovelady
on acoustic guitar, Bryan Slagle on acoustic https://pocketoption.br.com/legal guitar, Patrick
Steele on percussion, Chris Dodds on drums and more.
It was here that Wonderful Thing, jigsawman,
and swing your dress was born. Once again
engineered by Donnie Meals and produced by Chris Taylor.

LANGUAGE OF FOOLS

The band signs to R.E.X. Music and travels to Sacramento,
CA. to work with producer Mike Roe of the 77s.
Chris Mattingly replaces Slocum on guitar, Duncan on bass,
Dodds on drums. Roe plays guitar on she was
and spinning through the night which was a hidden
track (77- get it?) and guested English writer and poet
Steve Scott onselfless and 77s bass player
Mark Harmon on Wednesday.

INTRODUCING LOVE COMA RADIO COMPILATION

Featuring music and interview from Randy Stonehill and Tammy
Trent along with these new kids on the R.E.X. block called
Love Coma. The bands featured tracks are tomorrow
takes too long and astronaut. Both
versions can be found on language of fools. Plus has
an interview with Taylor and song IDs. This CD
was never for sale.

Love Coma lands tomorrow takes too long as the
first track on this compilation CD featuring another Taylor-
the genius Steve Taylor, Carolyn Arends, Michael W. Smith
and more.

The
band entered Edit Point Studio with Donnie Meals to record
all new material. jesus is alive, youre
just another angel who cant get no sleep, starfield
frequency, hands untied, rain petals
& a rockinremake of the price of failure.
Some of these tracks may have surfaced because of
Taylor himself dubbing them off or people who are looking
for some hard to come by music.
1996
THE FLU SESSION!
(recorded to DAT, dubbed to cassette)
File under Love Coma.
Called the FLU SESSION because Taylor was extremely sick
but chose to record anyway (since it was for free).
Matt Slocum had set up a makeshift recording studio in New
Braunfels an invited us to come and record some tunes.
The band was Taylor, Dodds on drums, Matt Odom played bass
and Chris Mattingly played lead guitar. The track
list includes Jesus is alive, all along
the watchtower, laughing in the face of love
and the price of failure.
Master DAT not found.

Once again, good thing was chosen for this compilation. The
Chris Taylor Band performed at the festival with Riki Michele
on background vocals, immediately after their performance,
thunder storms crashed down on the festival grounds.

Recorded @ Edit Point Studio by unidentified student engineers.
The song Taylor chose to record was a new one called something
about free willand has never appeared on any release
although, Taylor has publicly stated he rather liked this
recorded version. The band consisted of Chris Dodds
on drums, Levi White on bass, Mike Atkins played keyboards
while Taylor played acoustic guitar and sang.

cello. Riki Michele (of Adam Again) guest vocals on
the title track and seahorse. Available
through Rhythm House Records. There was a limited
edition prerelease with different artwork for the cover
and featured salt of the earth as track 11,
instead of the hidden track it was on the official release.

Recorded by Taylor at his home in San Antonio. Track
listing includes:ravish my heart, sundown,
high on love, watching over you,
over, grace,speed,urgency, know
what youre made of, bus stop, sing
yourself through slavery, accidental charm/take
one and a rough demo of trouble for the world.
Most of the songs are acoustic in nature, though several
guest appearances by
Lady Jane Gray, Justin Graves and Shane Kyle, as well as
Ruben V on acoustic
guitar. It also includes several live versions of
cover tunes sweet thing
(by Van Morrison) and inner city blues (by Marvin
Gaye). The latter was
recorded in Austin, TX while opening for the 77s and
features a scorching
lead guitar by Richard Kentopp.
